Farah Chreim is a Lebanese singer and content creator who has emerged as a prominent rising talent in the Arab world. Born on December 17, 1994, she grew up in an artistic family, inheriting a love for music from her mother, Haifa, and her poet father, Anwar Chreim. Her career gained widespread attention during the 2020 lockdown when she began posting videos on TikTok. These clips, featuring her performing traditional Lebanese folk music known as "Zajal" alongside her sisters Ghida and Dima and their parents, quickly went viral, highlighting Farah's unique vocal talent. Chreim achieved pan-Arab fame with her cover of the song "Al Ain Ya Nour Al Ain," which garnered millions of views and became a massive hit. Building on this momentum, she transitioned to releasing her own original music. In 2022, she released the single "Albi Elou," a phenomenal success that surpassed 100 million views on YouTube. She followed this with a string of other successful releases, including "Nazar Aayni" (2022), "Baadou Albi" (2023), and "Benti" (2024), proving her versatility and ability to blend traditional and contemporary sounds. Chreim has made several media appearances, including interviews on Al Jadeed TV and on the show "Al Mazh Nusso Jad" with Hisham Haddad.
Farah Chreim's debut original single, "Albi Elou," released in 2022, became a monumental success, amassing over 220 million views on her official YouTube channel. The song, with lyrics and composition by Mahfoud Al Maher, was instrumental in establishing her as a solo artist and one of the most prominent young voices in the Arab music scene. Chreim and her sisters gained significant recognition for reviving the Lebanese folk music genre of Zajal and introducing it to a new generation through social media. Their family performance videos, which went viral in 2021, helped bring this important traditional art form back into the spotlight, earning her acclaim for preserving Lebanese musical heritage.
Several sources have indicated that Farah Chreim holds a Master's degree in Business Administration, though this information has not been officially verified.
