His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, born on November 14, 1982, is the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. He is widely known by his pen name, Fazza, under which he publishes Nabati poetry on patriotic and romantic themes. He was appointed Crown Prince on February 1, 2008, having previously served as Chairman of The Executive Council since September 2006, where he has led the modernization of government operations and overseen the implementation of strategic development plans. Sheikh Hamdan received his primary and secondary education in Dubai before graduating from the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom in 2001. He also attended specialized courses at the London School of Economics and the Dubai School of Government, providing him with a strong foundation in military leadership and economic management. Known for his approachable leadership style and direct engagement with citizens, Sheikh Hamdan is also an accomplished equestrian, having won multiple world championships. He spearheads major strategic initiatives, most notably the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to double the size of the emirate's economy by 2033 and solidify its position as a global hub for business, investment, and innovation.
