His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, born on November 14, 1982, is the Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. He is widely known by his pen name, Fazza, under which he publishes Nabati poetry on patriotic and romantic themes. He was appointed Crown Prince on February 1, 2008, having previously served as Chairman of The Executive Council since September 2006, where he has led the modernization of government operations and overseen the implementation of strategic development plans. Sheikh Hamdan received his primary and secondary education in Dubai before graduating from the prestigious Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom in 2001. He also attended specialized courses at the London School of Economics and the Dubai School of Government, providing him with a strong foundation in military leadership and economic management. Sheikh Hamdan leads the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), a comprehensive strategic plan launched in January 2023. The agenda aims to double the size of Dubai's economy over the next decade, targeting an aggregate value of AED 32 trillion, and to establish Dubai among the top three global economic cities. It includes 100 transformational projects focused on boosting foreign trade, sustainable manufacturing, attracting investment, and developing new economic sectors. Under his patronage, the Hamdan International Photography Award (HIPA) was founded in 2011. It has grown to become one of the world's most prestigious photography competitions, offering one of the largest grand prizes and attracting thousands of photographers from over 100 countries annually. The award aims to bolster Dubai's status as a global hub for arts and culture while nurturing photographic talent worldwide. As a world-class endurance rider, Sheikh Hamdan has achieved significant international sporting success. He won the individual gold medal at the World Equestrian Games in Normandy, France, in 2014. He also led the UAE team to a gold medal victory at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky and secured a gold medal at the 2006 Asian Games. Education

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed was educated in Dubai at the Rashid School For Boys and later attended the Dubai School of Government. He continued his studies in the United Kingdom, graduating from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS) in 2001. He also attended several specialized courses in economics at the London School of Economics (LSE).
