Maya Hojeij is a prominent Lebanese media personality with over two decades of experience in business journalism, establishing her as a leading voice in the Arab world. She is currently a Senior Business Anchor at Asharq with Bloomberg, where she hosts the daily show "East West" and the weekly "Asia Report," having joined the network in July 2020. Hojeij's career began at Abu Dhabi TV, followed by a significant ten-year tenure at Al Arabiya News Channel starting in 2002, where she was a key part of its launch team and one of the first stock market anchors on Arab television. From 2012 to 2020, she served as a Senior News Presenter and Chief Editor at Dubai TV, where she hosted the popular business show "#Mal". Beyond broadcasting, Maya is a university professor at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School for Communication at the American University in Dubai.
