Professor Adel bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani is a prominent Saudi consultant in ophthalmology, serving as a Professor and the Head of the Department of Ophthalmology at the College of Medicine, King Saud University. He possesses extensive expertise in oculoplastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive eye surgery, as well as cataract and refractive surgeries. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from King Saud University in 2000, followed by the Saudi and King Saud University Fellowship in Ophthalmology in 2005. Pursuing advanced specialization, Professor Al-Suhaibani completed a two-year intensive fellowship in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery (2006-2008) at the University of Iowa, USA, a world-renowned center in the field. He also obtained the British Fellowship in Ophthalmology in 2011. His practical experience includes a residency at King Abdulaziz University Hospital and King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital from 2001 to 2005. Currently, he serves as a consultant at King Abdulaziz University Hospital and also practices at respected private institutions like Majesty Hospital and Ibn Rushd Medical Center. He is known for his skill in delicate procedures such as blepharoplasty, ptosis correction, and orbital surgery.
