Rawsan Hallak is a pioneering Jordanian stand-up comedian and actress, recognized as one of the leading female voices in the Arab world's comedy scene. Born in Amman, Jordan, she initially pursued a different path, earning a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan. However, her lifelong passion for theatre and performance, evident since her school days, ultimately guided her career. Hallak's professional comedy journey began in 2013 when she was selected from over 100 applicants to join the N2O Comedy stand-up show, produced by the media company Kharabeesh. She quickly gained prominence for her bold and satirical commentary on social issues and the experiences of women in the Middle East. Beyond stand-up, Hallak has showcased her acting talent, notably in the 2015 Jordanian sitcom "Asfoureyyeh." Her diverse career also includes roles as a drama teacher and a radio presenter. Her YouTube channel and social media presence reflect her spontaneous personality, where she connects with a broad audience by tackling everything from social critique to everyday life situations.

A pivotal achievement in Rawsan Hallak's career was her selection for the global Netflix series, "Comedians of the World." She was featured among 47 comedians from 13 regions, earning international recognition as the first Hijabi Arab comedian to have a special on the platform. Hallak has performed at prestigious international comedy festivals, including the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal, Canada, and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland, the world's largest arts festival. These appearances have solidified her status as a Jordanian comedian on the global stage. She played a key role in the Jordanian sitcom "Asfoureyyeh," which aired on Roya TV in 2015. This role helped broaden her audience base as a comedic actress capable of portraying characters that resonate with Arab viewers.

Rawsan Hallak holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Jordan. She completed her primary and secondary education at the Islamic Scientific College schools in Amman.
