Salwa Nabil Malhas is a prominent Jordanian engineer and business leader, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Medcell in Kuwait, a company established in 2021 that specializes in the operation and management of medical projects. With over 35 years of experience, she has a distinguished career in engineering, investment, and real estate development, having led major projects across key regional markets including Kuwait, Dubai, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Prior to her current role, Malhas had a long and impactful tenure at Al-Mazaya Holding Company, which she joined in January 2004. She rose through the ranks to become the Group Chief Operating Officer, a position she held for a significant part of her 21 years with the firm. Her responsibilities included structuring business plans, sourcing and overseeing new business growth, and participating in major government and private sector tenders. Previously, she was the General Manager of Al-Masaken Real Estate Co., a subsidiary of the Acico Group, for 10 years, and Head of Tendering and Business Development at Ghassan Al Khaled Contracting Co. She began her career as an assistant professor in the engineering department at the Jordan University of Science and Technology.

Salwa Malhas has served on the boards of several high-profile real estate and investment companies. Notably, she held the position of Vice Chairman of the Board for First Dubai Real Estate Development Company, a corporation with a capital exceeding $300 million. Her board memberships also include Seven Zones Real Estate Company and Al-Nawadi Holding Company. As CEO of Medcell, Malhas led the strategic launch of the "Salamtek" digital health platform in March 2025, in partnership with Kuwait International Bank (KIB). This initiative aims to transform Kuwait's digital healthcare landscape by providing comprehensive services, including remote medical consultations, pharmaceutical delivery, and appointments with specialized medical centers.

Eng. Salwa Malhas holds both Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Civil Engineering from the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST). She has supplemented her academic foundation with high-level executive education, earning an executive diploma from Harvard Business School, a certificate in Business Administration from INSEAD, and a certificate in critical business development decisions from the University of Chicago.
