Abdulateef Alsaleh, widely known as "Mano," is a prominent Kuwaiti visual artist, illusionist, and engineer who has become one of the leading figures in visual and theatrical arts in Kuwait and the Arab world. He began his professional life with a degree in Petroleum and Gas Engineering, but his passion for the stage led him toward a career in entertainment. He initially started around 2013 as a scriptwriter and stand-up comedian, utilizing social media platforms like Kik to share his work. A significant turning point in his artistic journey occurred around 2015 when he began to develop and integrate visual illusions with comedy, presenting a unique style in the Kuwaiti dialect. He founded his creative team, "Imagine," with whom he has delivered innovative performances in numerous countries. In 2017, Alsaleh participated in the fifth season of the renowned talent show "Arabs Got Talent," which significantly boosted his recognition across the Arab region. He consistently emphasizes that his performances are a form of visual art and theatrical creativity, not magic, a concept encapsulated in the title of his most famous stage show, "Mo Saher" (Not a Magician). In addition to his stage work, Alsaleh has showcased his versatility as a presenter on several seasons of the TV program "Layali Al Kuwait."
