He earned his MB BCh from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2002, followed by a Professional Doctorate in Plastic & Burn Surgery from University Hospital Cologne, Germany in 2013, and completed a Fellowship in Hand & Reconstructive Surgery at University of Bonn, Germany in 2014.
