Alaa Alzuabi is a Syrian actor, born on November 14, 1978, originally from Daraa Governorate. He honed his craft through academic study, graduating from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus. His artistic career began in the mid-1990s, with his first television role in the series "Al-Fardawi" in 1995. A major turning point in his career came in 2004 with his participation in the series "Al-Taghreba Al-Falastenya" (The Palestinian Expatriation), directed by the late Hatem Ali, which brought him widespread fame. However, the role that cemented his place in the memory of Arab audiences was that of "Khater" in the popular period drama "Bab Al-Hara" for its first five seasons. His roles have been diverse, spanning historical series like "Al-Zeer Salem," "Al-Hajjaj," and "Kingdoms of Fire," as well as contemporary social dramas such as "Ahl Al-Gharam," "Ala Toul Al-Ayam," and "Laysa Saraban." He achieved significant success in joint Arab productions, most notably as "Talal" in the three-season series "Arous Beirut" (Bride of Beirut). In addition to television, Alzuabi has a presence in theater with plays like "Classic" and "Tiamo," and has worked in voice dubbing for Turkish series. He has been married to Syrian actress Raghdaa Shaarani since 2013.
