Qamar Mahmoud Al-Tahsh, known professionally as Amar, is a Lebanese singer and actress born in Tripoli in 1986. She emerged on the Arab art scene as a performing artist who combines both singing and acting. Her career officially began in 2007, and she gained widespread fame after the release of her debut single "Naroh Btehreny" ("His Fire Burns Me"), which captured significant public attention. She followed it up with the single "Al Ya'ni" ("So He Means"), solidifying her presence in the Arabic pop music world. In 2010, Amar released her debut album titled "Helwa," which featured a variety of songs including "El Ataba Kazaz," "Oh La La," and "Mbakhafsh." Her career was not limited to music; she pursued her childhood dream of acting, making her cinematic debut in Egypt with the 2012 film "Hassel Kheir." In this film, she co-starred with prominent actors such as Saad El Soghayar, Mohamed Ramadan, and Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz. She also participated in the movie "Hamlat Firaoun" ("Pharaoh's Campaign") in 2019 and appeared in the television series "Nassibi We Qesmetak" in 2016, proving her artistic versatility.
