Nesreen Tafesh is a Syrian actress and singer, born in Aleppo on February 15, 1982, to a Palestinian father, the poet Yousef Tafesh, and an Algerian mother. Her passion for the arts began at a young age, leading her to move to Damascus in 1999 to enroll in the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts, from which she graduated in 2008. Tafesh began her professional career before graduating, with her first role in the historical series "Holako" in 2002. She quickly captured attention with her talent, landing a leading role in the 2003 series "Rabia Cordoba" (Cordoba's Spring), which served as her true breakthrough in the Arab drama scene. Tafesh has built an extensive filmography with successful roles in Syrian and pan-Arab dramas, including "Al-Taghreba al-Falastenya" (2004), "Sabaya" (2009), "Jalasat Nisa'iya" (2011), and "Al Ekhwa" (2015). In 2018, she moved to Egypt to expand her artistic horizons, making her Egyptian cinema debut in the film "Nadi El-Regal El-Serri" (The Secret Men Club) in 2019. She also achieved significant success in Egyptian television with the series "Al Maddah" (2021). Alongside her acting career, Tafesh launched a singing career in 2017, releasing several singles such as "Metghayar Alayi" and "123 Habibi," followed by her album "El-helwa" in 2019. She currently resides between the United Arab Emirates and Egypt to manage her diverse artistic projects.
