About Nour Bazrbachi

Nour Bazrbachi is a Syrian visual artist and interior designer, born in Aleppo in 1990, and currently based in Dubai, UAE. She is renowned for her unique approach that merges fine art with fashion, launching the initiative "Art in Everywhere" to transform artworks from wall-hangings into wearable fashion pieces and accessories. Her artistic journey began in early childhood, and she moved to Dubai in 2011 to further cultivate her talent, studying the principles of drawing at a talent development institute in Jumeirah for three years. Bazrbachi gained prominence in the art scene through numerous exhibitions in major Dubai shopping centers and held her first solo exhibition, "Unwritten Ideas," at the Dubai Ladies Club in 2012. Her work is characterized by the embodiment of human emotions, earning her the nickname "The Artist of Feelings." Beyond canvas, her art extends to clothing, bags, hats, and even face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she was a pioneer in introducing hand-painted designs. She has been featured in interviews on major channels like Dubai TV and MBC, and her work has been highlighted in magazines such as Ahlan Arabia. In 2022, she explored a new creative avenue by releasing her first song, "Hayati Mlawana" (My Colorful Life).

Nour Bazrbachi's Achievements

In 2013, Nour Bazrbachi achieved a significant milestone when two of her paintings were sold at an international public auction for over $17,000. The proceeds were donated by Standard Chartered Bank to the "Seeing is Believing" charitable initiative. Bazrbachi held her first solo exhibition, titled "Unwritten Ideas," at the Dubai Ladies Club in 2012, which ran for a month and a half and marked a key moment in her early career in Dubai. She has also been an active participant in the local art scene, taking part in events like the "Quoz Happens 2014" campaign, where her work was showcased to thousands of visitors. Expanding her artistic scope beyond traditional canvases, Bazrbachi was commissioned to create a massive 6 by 4.5-meter mural for a luxury palace on Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. She has also pioneered painting on floors and in gardens using special water and heat-resistant materials, transforming ordinary spaces into vibrant works of art.

Education

Nour Bazrbachi studied the principles and arts of drawing at a talent development institute in the Jumeirah area of Dubai for three years after moving to the city in 2011.
