About Samar Rahbini

Samar Rahbini is a Saudi athlete, entrepreneur, and influential women's empowerment advocate based in Jeddah. She has emerged as a pioneering figure in women's cycling in Saudi Arabia by founding the "Brave Cyclist" team in 2017, the first women's cycling team in the Kingdom. The team aims to promote a cycling culture among women and encourage sports participation in line with Vision 2030, successfully growing to include over 2,500 members. Beyond cycling, Rahbini has ventured into the world of motorsports, competing in "Rally Jameel," the first navigational rally for women in Saudi Arabia. She is also a professional cyclist for the Al-Ahli Saudi Club and serves as a member of the Social Responsibility department of the Saudi Cycling Federation for the Western Region. Outside of sports, Rahbini runs a digital platform where she offers guides and products focused on building self-confidence, setting healthy boundaries, and understanding relationships, aiming to foster self-awareness and empower women on a personal level.

Samar Rahbini's Achievements

Samar Rahbini founded the "Brave Cyclist" team in 2017, which is recognized as the first and one of the largest women's cycling teams in Saudi Arabia. She successfully led the team to grow its membership to over 2,500 women, directly contributing to breaking social barriers and encouraging thousands of women to practice sports in public spaces. Rahbini has secured notable achievements in motorsports through her participation in Rally Jameel. In the 2022 edition, she won third place in the AW4 category with her sister and navigator, Walaa Rahbini. She continued her success in the 2024 rally, achieving second place in the PTH4 category.

Education

According to media reports in 2021, Samar Rahbini was a university student pursuing a degree in Information Technology at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.
