About Ahmed L Saadany

Ahmed El Saadany is a prominent Egyptian actor, born on July 16, 1979, and the son of the late iconic actor Salah El Saadany. He grew up in an artistic family; his uncle is the renowned satirical writer Mahmud Sadani. El Saadany's career began in 1995 with a small role alongside his father in the series "Al Helmeya Nights." However, his true breakthrough came with the series "A Man in the Age of Globalization" (2002-2003), where his major role brought him widespread recognition. He has since built a successful career in both cinema and television, establishing himself as a leading actor in his own right. His significant cinematic works include "Dignity Day" (2004), "The Yacoubian Building" (2006), and "Morgan Ahmed Morgan" (2007) alongside the legendary Adel Imam, who became a mentor early in his career and also cast him in the acclaimed series "Naji Attallah's Squad" (2012). El Saadany has showcased his versatility in films like "The Deal" (2012), "Triangle Heist" (2016), and "200 Pounds" (2021). In television drama, he achieved significant success with series such as "Red Sulfur" (2016-2017), "Zay El Shams" (2019), "Betloo El Rooh" (2022), and "Sero El Batea" (2023).

Ahmed El Saadany has successfully carved out a distinct and independent artistic path, taking on leading roles in numerous critically and commercially successful productions. He also achieved major success in director Khaled Youssef's epic historical drama "Sero El Batea" (2023), one of the largest productions of the Ramadan season. In 2024, El Saadany made a notable return to the stage after a long hiatus, starring alongside Hana El Zahed in the play "Casanova," which was part of the Riyadh Season festivities. He continues his active career with the upcoming series "Lam Shamsiya," scheduled for Ramadan 2025, where he will star opposite Amina Khalil.

Education

He graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at Cairo University. He also enrolled at the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts to pursue his passion for acting.
