Leen Gherra is a Syrian-American actress, born in the United States on September 12, 1994, and raised in Damascus, Syria. Holding dual citizenship, she discovered her passion for acting at a young age and pursued formal training, graduating from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus in 2017. Gherra began her professional career in 2016 while still a student, making her debut in the series "Ahmar." Following her graduation, her role as "Maymouna" in the historical series "Al-Mahlab Ibn Abi Safra" (2018) served as a significant launchpad, requiring her to master classical Arabic and equestrian skills. She went on to appear in various dramas, including "Masafet Aman" (2019) and the Netflix series "The Platform" (2020). Her fame grew across the Arab world with key roles in joint Arab productions, notably as "Lina" in "Salon Zahra" (2021) and "Yam" in "Shatti Ya Beirut" (2021).
