Aixa Kay (born Aixa Alkusayer) is a multi-talented Saudi artist who has established a notable career as an actress, writer, and voice artist, bridging the creative landscapes of Canada and Saudi Arabia. Born and raised in Saudi Arabia, she later moved to Vancouver, Canada, where she honed her craft through extensive acting training. Kay holds a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from Portland State University in the United States. Kay began her career in writing, serving as the head writer for two television comedies for MBC. However, her passion for performance led her to acting. Her breakout lead role in the Canadian feature film "Jasmine Road" (2020) was a pivotal moment, earning her three award nominations for Best Lead Performance and membership in the Canadian actors' union (UBCP/ACTRA). Having recently returned to reside full-time in Riyadh, she has made a significant impact on Saudi drama with acclaimed roles in series like "Sharie Al Asha" and "Banat Al Thanawi," as well as participating in important Saudi films such as "Norah" and "Saify."
