Bakr Khalid is a prominent Iraqi actor and media personality, born in Baghdad on February 19, 1988. He began his career in media, gaining widespread recognition as the host of successful television programs, most notably "Sabah Al Sharqiya" on Al Sharqiya TV in 2016. Although he started in media, his primary ambition was always to pursue acting, using his platform as a stepping stone into the drama industry. In 2022, Khalid made a significant career transition into acting with his role as "Kamal" in the popular Iraqi series "Heera," which aired on MBC channels and received considerable acclaim. This breakthrough was followed by key roles in other major drama series, including "Asal Masmoum" (Poisoned Honey) in 2024, where he played "Karam," and "Ibn Al Basha" in 2025. He also starred in the 2025 feature film "Nadam" (Regret), which addressed important social issues. Khalid is married to fellow Iraqi media personality Haifa Hassouni, and they are a well-known couple on social media. He currently resides in the United Arab Emirates.
