May Yacoubi is a Palestinian-Egyptian chef, television personality, and entrepreneur who has successfully transformed her passion for cooking into an inspiring career in the Middle East. She began her journey as a food blogger, which captured the attention of the upscale supermarket chain Gourmet Egypt, leading to her appointment as a Consultant Chef. In this role, she was responsible for product development and managing a team of chefs. Combining her academic background in media with her culinary passion, Yacoubi holds a bachelor's degree in Media from the American University of Sharjah and a master's degree in Journalism from the American University in Cairo. She leveraged this expertise to launch her acclaimed television show, "May's Kitchen," which aired on prominent channels like Fatafeat and Food Network, achieving widespread success. She has also hosted other programs, including "May's Show" on the Al Qahera wa el nas channel. Beyond her television career, May Yacoubi has expanded into entrepreneurship by launching her own brand, ChefMay.com, an e-commerce platform specializing in high-quality, Egyptian-made kitchenware and homeware. Currently residing in Cairo with her husband, director Ahmed Kardous, and their two children, she continues to inspire her audience with innovative recipes and a distinctive media presence.

May Yacoubi achieved significant success in culinary media with her show "May's Kitchen." The program was selected by the global Food Network to represent Middle Eastern cuisine, a major milestone for a chef from the region. The show also aired on Fatafeat, reaching a broad audience across the Arab world. She founded her own brand, "ChefMay.com," specializing in kitchen and homeware. The venture focuses on high-quality, locally-made Egyptian products and aims to support local artisans by featuring the work of over 100 artists and vendors on the platform. This marks a significant entrepreneurial success that blends commerce with support for local industry. Yacoubi held the position of Consultant Chef for the renowned upscale supermarket chain, Gourmet Egypt. In this capacity, she was responsible for developing food products and overseeing a team of chefs, playing a key role in shaping the chain's ready-to-eat offerings and strengthening its market presence.

May Yacoubi earned a Master's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the American University in Cairo. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design from the American University of Sharjah, UAE.
