Elena Akbik is a Syrian actress, content creator, and entrepreneur born in Damascus in 1997 to a family with deep roots in both arts and commerce. Her father is a textile businessman, and her mother is of Iraqi descent. Akbik comes from a distinguished artistic lineage; she is a descendant of the great poet Nizar Qabbani, Damascus theatre founder Ahmed Abu Khalil Akbik, and Homs theatre founder Mamdouh Al-Khawaja, who is also her grandfather. Akbik began her artistic journey at a young age, participating in children's theatre and voice-over work for the Damascus Puppet Theatre at age 13. After a hiatus due to the conflict in Syria, she made a powerful comeback through social media in 2019, quickly establishing herself as a leading female comedy creator in the Arab world. Her content blends comedic skits with beauty, fashion, and lifestyle themes. Alongside her digital presence, she has founded her own clothing and cosmetics businesses in Iraq, Turkey, and Syria. She currently resides in Iraq, splitting her time between Baghdad and Erbil.

Elena Akbik studied Commerce and Economics at the Syrian Virtual University. Additionally, she holds specialized certifications in accounting, financial and banking business administration, and digital marketing. She also studied theatre and performance arts.
