Dr. Hossam Altatari is a distinguished consultant in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases with extensive international experience spanning Europe, North America, and the Middle East. He currently serves as the Director of General Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases at The Heart Medical Center in Al Ain, UAE, a position he has held since 2018. In parallel with his clinical practice, Dr. Altatari maintains his academic affiliation as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Western Ontario, Canada, reflecting his commitment to ongoing medical education. His academic journey began with an MD from the University Medical School of Debrecen, Hungary, in 1994. He then completed his Arab Board training in the UAE before moving to the United States. In the US, he undertook his pediatric residency at Hurley Medical Center of Michigan State University and a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the Children's Hospital of Michigan.
