Mahmoud AbdelMageed, widely known as "The Optimistic Citizen" (المواطن المتفائل), is an Egyptian content creator, entrepreneur, and technology engineer with a professional background spanning over two decades. After a distinguished career in the tech industry, which included a period in the United States, he returned to Egypt to begin a new chapter focused on entrepreneurship and meaningful content creation. He is the Co-Founder & CEO of Human Squad, a company dedicated to helping developers build remote work teams. Before his journey into content creation, Mahmoud built a strong reputation as an IT expert. He served as the Director of Information Technology for Zamalek Sporting Club (ZSC), where he was responsible for the club's digital transformation. His career also includes key roles such as IT Professional Services Manager at LINK Development and Senior Delivery Manager at ITWorx. He began his career as a software engineer, progressively taking on more senior roles that provided him with extensive experience in project and team management. Around 2020, Mahmoud seriously pursued content creation, discovering a passion for sharing his life and professional experiences in a positive and realistic manner.
