Muhammad Gawish is a prominent Egyptian entrepreneur in the EdTech sector, serving as the Co-Founder and CEO of iSchool. He co-founded iSchool in 2018 to bridge the technology education gap in the MENA region, offering live, gamified online classes in programming, artificial intelligence, data science, and game development for students aged 6 to 18. The idea for the platform was sparked during a trip to Japan where he witnessed young children outperforming adults in coding and robotics competitions, inspiring him to bring a similar educational model to the Arab world. Under his leadership, iSchool has become a leading platform in its field, educating over 131,000 students across more than 20 countries. The company has successfully secured significant funding, including a $4.5 million round in late 2023 led by Irish VC firm VentureWave Capital, aimed at global expansion with a base in Dublin. Education

Muhammad Gawish holds a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cairo University. He furthered his academic experience by studying Entrepreneurship and Business Management at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. Additionally, he participated in the Innovation & Growth program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
