Sameh Sanad is an Egyptian director, author, and documentary content creator, recognized as a leading figure in the true crime genre in the Arab world. With over 23 years of experience in the media industry, he began his career as a journalist at Al-Wafd newspaper, covering crime and arts, and also worked as a caricaturist. He honed his directorial skills by studying cinematic direction at the Cinema Culture Palace after graduating from the Faculty of Arts with a degree in Media (Journalism). Sanad transitioned to television, holding key positions such as Senior Producer for the Al-Nahar network. He collaborated with prominent channels including Rotana, Rotana Masriya, DW Germany, and MBC, where he directed well-known programs like "Maa Mona El Shazly." In 2014, he traveled to the United States to study documentary filmmaking. The year 2018 marked a pivotal moment in his career when he decided to leave traditional media to focus on digital content creation, launching his highly successful series "The Full Story" (Al-Qessa Al-Kamela) on YouTube and other social platforms. In the show, he narrates real crime stories using a unique style that blends investigation, drama, and psychological analysis, delivered in classical Arabic and visually enhanced with AI technologies, which has earned him widespread acclaim.
