Zeina, born Wessam Reda Ismail Morsi on February 4, 1977, is a prominent Egyptian actress and model. She began her career as a model, appearing in several music videos under her birth name, Wessam. Her transition to acting was marked by her debut role as Hana in the 1999 film "Ard El Khof" (Land of Fear), where she was selected by director Daoud Abdel Sayed to star alongside the legendary actor Ahmed Zaki. Shortly after, she adopted the stage name "Zeina," reportedly suggested to her by the singer Amr Diab. Throughout her career, Zeina has built a diverse and extensive filmography, showcasing her versatility. Her notable film roles include performances in "El Haya fe Montaha el Laza" (Joys of Life, 2005), "El Shabah" (The Ghost, 2007), "El Gezyra" (The Island, 2007), "Captain Hima" (2008), and "Al-Maslaha" (The Deal, 2012). She has also achieved significant success in television, starring in popular series such as "Afaryt el-Sayala" (Ghosts of Sayala, 2004), "Hadret el Motaham Aby" (My Father, the Accused, 2006), "Le Aala Se'r" (For the Highest Price, 2017), and more recent blockbusters like "Jaafar El Omda" (2023) and "Al-Atawla" (2024).
