Khaled Shubat is a Syrian actor, born in Damascus in 1994, who has emerged as one of the most prominent young talents in modern Arab drama. He honed his craft through academic study, graduating from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus. Shubat began his career with diverse roles that showcased his abilities, participating in series such as "Nass Min Warak" (2019), "Chicago Street" (2020), and both seasons of "Al-Kandoush" (2021-2022). The year 2023 marked a pivotal turning point in his career, as he achieved widespread public and critical acclaim for his portrayal of "Basil" in the hit series "Crystal." Shubat masterfully played the complex role of a young man with Asperger's syndrome, making the character a central and beloved figure. He continued his success the same year with the role of "Samer" in the Arabic adaptation of "The Traitor" ("Al Kha'en"). In 2024, Shubat expanded his regional presence by making his debut in Egyptian drama in the series "Atabat El Bahja" alongside the legendary actor Yahya El-Fakharani, in addition to his role in the series "Interview."
