Maguy Bou Ghosn is a prominent Lebanese actress and singer, born on September 18, 1975, in Bsalim, Metn District. Considered one of the most significant stars in Arab drama, she began her artistic journey in the early 1990s. She studied acting and directing at the Lebanese University and also took music lessons at the Higher Institute of Music from the age of twelve. Her career breakthrough occurred in Syrian drama with roles in notable series like "Al-Khawali" directed by Bassam Al-Mulla, which helped her hone her craft and master various dialects. In 1998, she participated in the comedy show "Daoud in Hollywood" alongside Kuwaiti artist Dawood Hussein. The year 2008 marked her strong debut in the Lebanese drama scene with the series "Asr el Hareem." Since then, she has starred in numerous successful Ramadan series, including the three seasons of "Lil Mawt" (Till Death), "A'a Amal," "Awlad Adam," "Caramel," and "Julia." In cinema, her films have achieved significant box office success, most notably "Habbet Caramel," "Vitamin," and "Al Sayyida Al Thaniya." She has been married to producer Jamal Sannan, owner of Eagle Films, since 2003, and they have a son, Rian, and a daughter, Yara.
