Mai Ezz Eldin, born Mahitab Hussein Ezz Eldin Wahba on January 19, 1980, is a prominent Egyptian actress known as the "Princess of Egyptian Drama." She was born in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where she lived for four years before returning to Egypt and settling in Alexandria. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Alexandria University. Ezz Eldin's artistic career was launched in 2001 when she was selected by singer Mohamed Fouad to star in the film "Rehlet Hob" (Love Journey), upon the recommendation of director Mohamed El Naggar. Her breakthrough role came the following year in the television series "Ayna Qalby" (Where is My Heart?), where she played the daughter of iconic actress Yousra. This role solidified her presence in the industry. She has since demonstrated remarkable versatility, excelling in romantic, comedic, and dramatic roles. Her most notable film work includes the highly successful "Omar & Salma" trilogy opposite Tamer Hosny, as well as popular films like "Booha" with Mohamed Saad and "Khiana Mashroaa" (Legitimate Betrayal). In television, she has delivered memorable performances in series such as "Al-Hakika w Al-Sarab" (The Truth and the Mirage), "Qadyet Safia" (Safia's Case), "Dalaa Banat," "Halet Eshq" (A State of Love), and "Jazeerat Ghamam" (Ghamam Island).
