Mona Elshazly, a prominent Egyptian media personality and talk show host, was born on September 23, 1973. Her career began after graduating with a degree in Media from the American University in Cairo, initially working in public relations for the Arab Contractors Company. Her media journey truly launched when she joined the Arab Radio and Television Network (ART) in Rome. Starting in 1996, she hosted various programs, including "Flash" and "The Issue Is Not Yet Resolved." Elshazly gained widespread fame across the Arab world with her political talk show "Al Ashira Masa'an" (10 O'Clock) on Dream TV. The program became a premier platform for political analysis and played an influential role, particularly during the events of the January 25th Revolution. Following this success, she presented "Gomla Mofida" (A Useful Sentence) on MBC Masr in 2012. In 2014, she launched her highly popular show "Ma3kom Mona Elshazly" (With You, Mona Elshazly) on CBC, which later moved to the ON channel. This program shifted focus to social, cultural, and human-interest stories, hosting notable figures from arts, sports, and culture, as well as individuals with inspiring stories, making it one of the most successful shows in the Middle East.
