Reem Shahrour is a Jordanian media personality and social activist who has carved a niche for herself through her passion for supporting local communities and small businesses. Although she began her academic journey in Finance and Banking, her interest in media led her to pursue and obtain a Comprehensive Media Diploma from the Roya Academy, which served as the launchpad for her professional career. Shahrour began her media career with an internship at Mazaj FM, a collaboration that extended for two years. During this time, she presented various well-received segments, including "Sidq Aw La Tusaddiq" (Believe It or Not), which featured unusual global news, and "Ala Ra'i Al-Mathal" (As the Proverb Goes), which narrated the stories behind popular proverbs. In Ramadan 2022, she hosted the daily program "Min Baytik" (From Your Home) on the same station, which was dedicated to showcasing home-based businesses and local products, particularly those run by women. This initiative earned her a significant following among that demographic. In 2023, she co-hosted the cooking show "A'al Khafif" alongside Chef Ghada Al-Hajj. Reem is known for her active presence on social media, which she utilizes as a platform to highlight positive initiatives, promote Jordanian products, and encourage community-based entrepreneurship.
