Ward El Khal is a veteran Lebanese actress, considered one of the most prominent drama stars in Lebanon and the Arab world. Born on September 10, 1972, she grew up in a distinguished artistic family; her father is the poet and writer Youssef El Khal, her mother is the Syrian painter and writer Maha Bayrakdar, and her brother is the actor Youssef El Khal. She began her artistic career in the mid-1990s, specifically in 1995, participating in series like "Rabi' Al Hob" (Spring of Love) and "Asabea' min Zahab" (Golden Fingers). El Khal's true breakthrough and widespread fame came with the series "Nisaa' fil A'sefa" (Women in the Storm) in 1997. Since then, she has delivered diverse and complex roles that have proven her exceptional talent. A key milestone in her career was her role in the 2008 series "Asmahan," where she portrayed Alia Al-Mundhir, Asmahan's mother, a role that earned her wide recognition in Egypt.
