Yasmina El-Abd is an Egyptian-Swiss actress and singer, born in Geneva, Switzerland, on June 8, 2006. Raised in a multicultural environment, she spent the first ten years of her life in Switzerland before moving with her family to Dubai, later living between Cairo and London. Holding Egyptian, Swiss, and American citizenship, she is fluent in Arabic, English, and French, which has enabled her to take on a diverse range of roles in both regional and international productions. El-Abd began her professional career at a young age, appearing in commercials and serving as a TV presenter for National Geographic Kids Abu Dhabi. Her official acting debut was in the 2019 short film "The Shadow of Cairo." She quickly gained prominence with standout roles, including her feature film debut in the Jordanian drama "Daughters of Abdul-Rahman" (2021). She achieved wider recognition for her role as Zeina in the popular Netflix series "Finding Ola" (2022) alongside superstar Hend Sabry, and as the Egyptian Princess Safiya in the HBO Max fantasy series "Theodosia" (2022). In addition to her acting career, Yasmina is a talented singer, having released several pop singles in 2020, such as "Mesh Mokhtalefeen" and "24 Karat." She honed her craft by studying at the Diverse Performing Arts School in Dubai and taking further acting classes in London.

Yasmina El-Abd achieved international recognition with her role as Princess Safiya in the HBO Max and CBBC fantasy series, "Theodosia." She was appointed the first "Safe Ambassador" for Safe, a regional organization dedicated to providing psychosocial support and protection against violence while empowering women in the region.
