Ahmed Ali Sultan, known professionally as Ahmed Al-Saedi, is a prominent Iraqi religious singer (Munshed) and composer, born in Maysan Governorate, Iraq, on May 16, 1986. He began his artistic career in 2010 and quickly emerged as one of the most significant voices in the field of religious, Husseini, and national anthems and poems. Raised in Sadr City, Baghdad, he left formal education after intermediate school due to personal circumstances to focus on developing his vocal talents, which were apparent from a young age. Al-Saedi started his career composing theme songs for television series before working as a Munshed for Al-Ahd Radio. He also served as a program director at Forsan Al-Iraq TV and a Munshed at Al-Farqadayn Channel. His major breakthrough came after being discovered by the famous Husseini eulogist Basim Karbalaei, who praised his voice as "distinctive and beautiful." He released his first nasheed, "Ah Ya Ghayeb," in 2010, followed by a series of widely popular works. Among his most notable pieces are the poem "Ana Jnayt" and albums such as "Manasik Al-Hob" (2016) and "Alam Al-Taff" (2017). He is known for his soulful voice, which is said to capture Iraqi sorrow, earning him praise from peers like Munshed Ali Al-Delfi, who stated, "Ahmed adds to the melody; the melody does not add to Ahmed."
