Hussein Al Deek, whose real name is Hussein Hormaz, is a prominent Syrian artist and singer, born in the Ras al-Bassit area of Lattakia in 1984. He grew up in a deeply artistic family; his brother is the well-known singer Ali Al Deek, and his twin brother, Hassan Al Deek, serves as his manager, organist, and composer. He began his professional music career in Damascus in 2000 with the release of his debut single, "Nater Bint Al Madrasa," in collaboration with maestro Talal Da'our. The year 2013 marked a significant turning point in his career with the release of the song "El Donia Zghereh," which brought him widespread fame across the Arab world. Al Deek's artistic style is characterized by blending traditional Arabic music with modern pop rhythms, earning him a massive fanbase. Among his most famous hits are "Ma7laki," "Ghayrik Ma Bekhtar," "Maaik Aal Mot," and "Malyoun Bhebbik Malyoun." He is also known for his frequent collaborations with lyricist Riad Al Ali and composer Talal Da'our, which have produced numerous successful works that have become staples at Arab festivals and concerts.
