Ismaeil Tamr is a Syrian artist, rapper, and actor born in Damascus. He is considered one of the pioneers of "meaningful rap" in the Arab world, distinguished by his unique style that blends music with profound social and humanitarian messages. His artistic career officially began in 2011, and he gained widespread fame through songs that addressed the Syrian crisis and national issues, making him a voice for his generation. His work is characterized by its bold exploration of themes like poverty, corruption, war, and peace, delivered through impactful lyrics and powerful melodies. Among his most successful tracks are "Malket Hayati" (Queen of My Life), "Qesset Hayati" (The Story of My Life), "Esma Meni" (Listen to Me), and "Ummet Al Melyar" (The Nation of a Billion).
