Joseph Attieh is a Lebanese singer and artist, born on May 14, 1987, in Batroun, North Lebanon. He rose to prominence in the Arab music scene after winning the third season of the popular talent show "Star Academy" in 2005, becoming the first Lebanese contestant to achieve this title. This victory marked the beginning of a successful artistic career, launching his first single, "La Trouhy" (Don't Go), in 2006, which became a bestseller in Lebanon and the Middle East. Attieh has since released a series of successful albums, including his debut "Mawhoum" in February 2010, followed by "Chou Btaemel Bel Nass" (2012), "Hobb W Mkattar" (2015), "Al Aghani Li Amelta Elik" (2017), and "Mnehkom Aal Nas" (2022). His career is characterized by musical diversity, encompassing romantic and pop songs, as well as patriotic anthems that resonated widely, most notably "El Haq Ma Beymout" (The Truth Never Dies), also known as "Lebnan Rah Yerjaa" (Lebanon Will Return). He also ventured into acting with a role in the 2008 series "Jiran" (Neighbors) and has performed theme songs for several series and films, solidifying his status as a versatile artist.
