Khaled Alkeesh is a prominent Syrian actor, born in the village of Buq'ata in the occupied Syrian Golan on October 11, 1977. Raised in a farming family, he moved to Damascus on a scholarship in 1998, a decision that later prevented him from returning to his hometown. He enrolled at the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts, graduating in 2004 and joining the Syrian Artists Syndicate the same year. His professional career began while he was still a student, with a role in the series "Memories of the Coming Time" (2003). However, his breakthrough came shortly after graduation with notable roles in major productions like "The Palestinian Expatriation" (2004), "Kings of Sects" (2005), and "Deers in the Forest of Wolves" (2006), which showcased his talent for portraying complex characters. Alongside his television work, he has significant theatrical credits, including "The Diplomats" with director Ghassan Massoud and "Mr. General" with actor Ayman Zeidan. Alkeesh is also renowned for his distinctive, deep voice, which he has utilized extensively in dubbing Turkish series. He famously provided the Arabic voice for Sultan Suleiman in "Hareem Al Sultan" (The Magnificent Century) and Kerim in "Fatma," earning him widespread recognition across the Arab world. His career is marked by remarkable versatility, seamlessly transitioning between historical and contemporary social dramas and participating in major pan-Arab series such as "A Minute of Silence" (2019), "Kasr Azm" (2022), and "Haret Al Qubba."
