Mehyar Fayez Khaddour is a prominent Syrian actor, born on October 10, 1983, in Salamiyah, Syria. He is the son of the poet and writer Fayez Khaddour, and he grew up in a cultural and artistic environment. His passion for the performing arts began at a young age when he joined a dance troupe. He later honed his talent through academic study, graduating from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus in 2008. Khaddour's professional career effectively began during his studies with roles in plays like "Sand Rhythms" and "The Road to Damascus." His television debut was in 2007 with the role of the poet Urwa ibn al-Ward in the series "Antara ibn Shaddad." He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Khalid ibn al-Walid in the epic historical series "Omar" (2012), a role that established him as a leading actor capable of tackling challenging historical figures.
