Mustafa Khalid Alagha is a prominent Syrian media personality and sports journalist of Palestinian descent, who also holds British citizenship and resides in the United Arab Emirates. Born on June 6, 1963, in the Yarmouk camp in Damascus, he began his media career in 1981 at the age of seventeen. Before joining the Middle East Broadcasting Center (MBC), he worked in print journalism with the Syrian newspaper "Al-Ittihad" and served as a producer, commentator, and presenter for Syrian Television. He also taught English Literature at the University of Damascus for 11 years. His move to the MBC network in 1996 was a pivotal moment in his career, where he took on the role of Head of Sports. His name became synonymous with his flagship program, "Sada Al Malaeb" (Echo of the Stadiums), which he hosted for approximately 19 years, gaining immense popularity across the Arab world. The show became a comprehensive daily platform for Arab and international sports news and analysis. In addition to "Sada Al Malaeb," Alagha hosted other successful programs, including the popular prize-giving show "Al Hulm" (The Dream), which transformed the lives of many, and "Asdaa Kas Alallam" (World Cup Reverberations). He continues to be an active columnist for more than ten prestigious Arab publications.
