Nevine Selim is an Egyptian media personality and content creator who graduated from the Faculty of Mass Communication at the American University in Cairo. She began her career in traditional media, first as a television reporter and later as a talk show host. One of her notable programs was "Sawt El Nas" (Voice of the People) on Mehwar TV. Selim gained significant recognition for her popular TV show "Aslo Eih" (What's its Origin?), which premiered on Mehwar TV in 2019 and ran for multiple seasons. The program uniquely explored the origins of everyday words, common proverbs, and traditions. Building on this success and her passion for making knowledge accessible, she transitioned to creating content for social media platforms. She is now widely known for her short, engaging videos that blend education with entertainment, uncovering the history behind familiar things. Her content went viral, with one of her early TikTok videos reaching 10 million views in just two days. Selim is dedicated to thorough research, consulting various books and references to ensure the accuracy of the information she presents to her audience in a lighthearted and appealing style.
