Rawan Mahdi is an Iraqi actress based in Kuwait, recognized as one of the most prominent young talents in Gulf drama. Born on September 17, 1992, she is the daughter of playwright Mahdi Al-Sayegh, which immersed her in a rich artistic environment from a young age. She graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Kuwait in 2015, launching a career distinguished by her bold choices of complex roles. Her television career was notably launched when veteran actress Souad Abdullah nominated her for a role in the series "Nawaya" (2016). However, she achieved widespread recognition for her role as "Noura" in "Bein Qalbein" the same year. Mahdi has since built a strong portfolio with significant roles in successful series such as "Kohl Aswad Qalb Abyad" (2017) and "The Ten Sins" (2018), where she played a controversial character. Her notable work includes major productions like "Dof'at Beirut" (2020), "Kaf wa Dfouf" (2021), and the Kuwaiti Netflix series "The Cage" (2022).
