About Dima Al Jundi

Dima Al Jundi is a Syrian actress, born in Damascus on March 8, 1976. She entered the acting world by chance in late 1998 when actor Ayman Zaidan cast her in the series "Al-Twaibi." However, her breakthrough and public recognition came with her role in the 1999 series "Dunia," alongside artist Amal Arafa. Originally from Salamiyah in the Hama countryside, she is the sister of media personality Lana Al Jundi. Over a career spanning more than two decades, Al Jundi has demonstrated her versatile talent through a wide range of roles in comedy, tragedy, historical dramas, and the popular Damascene environment genre. Among her most prominent roles are 'Zahra' in the first four seasons of the renowned series "Bab Al-Hara," and 'Lubna' in the series "Sabaya." She has also participated in other notable works such as "Hammam Al-Qishani," "Qalam Humra," "Banat Al-Eila," and more recently in the successful 2024 series "Wlad Badee'a" and "'A Amal." In addition to acting, she ventured into television presenting with two programs, "Wein Al Ghalat" and "La Tfahmona Ghalat." On a personal level, she was married to director Firas Dehni from 2003 to 2013, with whom she has one daughter, Tia. She currently resides in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Education

She studied at the Faculty of Commerce and Economics for one year before pursuing her artistic career.
