Rahma Mohsen is an Egyptian popular singer and actress, born in Cairo in 1993. She has emerged as one of the most prominent rising female voices in Egypt's sha'abi music scene, establishing a strong presence with her distinctive voice and authentic style. Her artistic journey began at the young age of 12 when she joined the Balloon Theater and performed with a religious chanting group, later honing her talent by studying at the Higher Institute of Arabic Music. Before achieving widespread fame, Mohsen worked as a coffee vendor from her own car, an experience she is proud of and considers part of her journey of perseverance. Her real breakthrough came via social media platforms, especially TikTok, where her singing clips went viral. Her fame solidified with the release of her 2024 hit song "Esned Dahrak W O'od Etfarag" ("Lean Back and Watch"), which garnered millions of views. Expanding her career, she ventured into acting, notably collaborating with actor Ahmed El Awady in the series "Fahd El Batal" and "Ali Clay", where she contributed both songs and acting performances.
