She has emerged as one of the most prominent rising female voices in Egypt's sha'abi music scene, establishing a strong presence with her distinctive voice and authentic style. Her artistic journey began at the young age of 12 when she joined the Balloon Theater and performed with a religious chanting group, later honing her talent by studying at the Higher Institute of Arabic Music. Before achieving widespread fame, Mohsen worked as a coffee vendor from her own car, an experience she is proud of and considers part of her journey of perseverance. Her real breakthrough came via social media platforms, especially TikTok, where her singing clips went viral.
