Ahmed Ezz is a prominent Egyptian actor and a leading star in Arab cinema and television, born in Cairo on July 23, 1971. He earned a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from the Faculty of Arts at Ain Shams University. Before his acting career took off, Ezz worked in the hotel industry and as a model, viewing it as a stepping stone toward his dream of acting. His artistic journey began with minor roles, first appearing in the music video for Asala's song "Lama Gat Einak F Einy," followed by a small part in the film "Kalam El Lail" (Night Talk, 1998), directed by Inas El-Degheidy. El-Degheidy later cast him in the lead role opposite Hend Sabry in "Muzikirat Murahiqa" (Memoirs of a Teenager, 2001), which served as his true breakthrough. Following this success, Ezz solidified his status as a major box-office draw by diversifying his roles across romance, action, drama, and thrillers. His notable films include "Malaki Eskendereya" (Private Alexandria, 2005), "Al Rahina" (The Hostage, 2006), "The Ghost" (2007), and the highly successful "Welad Rizk" (Sons of Rizk) film series. His 2022 film "Kira & El Gin," co-starring Karim Abdel Aziz, achieved historic box office numbers, becoming one of the highest-grossing films in Egyptian cinema history. In television, he has delivered successful performances in series like "Malak Rohi" (My Soul's King, 2003), "Al Adham" (2009), and notable patriotic dramas such as "Hagma Mortada" (Counterattack, 2021) and "Al Ekhteyar" (The Choice) Parts 2 and 3.
