Talal Mardini is a Syrian actor and screenwriter born in Damascus. He has emerged as a dual talent in Syrian and Arab drama, combining acting with writing scripts for works that have achieved widespread public success. He began his artistic career in 2005 with roles in series such as "Fesha Samaweya" (Heavenly Space) and "Qarn al-Ma'ez" (Goat Horn) after graduating from the Department of History, Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Damascus University. The year 2011 was a turning point in his career when he wrote and starred in the Damascene period drama "Rijal Al-Ezz" (Men of Glory), where he played the character Fares Abu Al-Dahab. The series was a major success, solidifying his status as a prominent writer and actor. He continued this success by writing and starring in the popular youth series "Ayam Al-Dirasa" (School Days) and its sequel, playing the much-loved comedic character Ghassan. His other notable writing credits include the series "Fatet Le'bet" and both parts of "Khatun," in which he also acted. As an actor, his roles have varied across comedy, tragedy, and historical dramas, with dozens of credits including "Zaman Al-Barghout," "Kasr Al-Khawater," "Al-Haramlek," and more recently, complex and notable roles in series like "Al-Thaman" (The Price) and "Al-Khuruj ila Al-Bir" (The Exit to the Well).
